Getting Java Plugins to Run with Mozilla in RH 9

Ok . For the time being am getting an error about validating the 
certificate from jsecom16b.sun.com
Bypassing that error you mean i get the the JSE v.1.4.2_04 ??
Then i need the JRE ? thing or the JSDK ? or both ?? . Then if i recall
well i get a bin file , which i install ?

If gcc32 means gcc ( General C Compiler ) v 3.2 wouldn't that conflict 
with my gcc 2.96 ???
