configuiring an ADSL connexion (Kenny Armstrongi)

I'm also having issues configuring my Westell Wirespeed modem for Red Hat 9.   I have it connected via USB because my ethernet card is dead.  I would really like to get this to work,as this is one of the major hurdles preventing my using Linux much because I can't access the web.
