dovecot 1.0.alpha1 comes with mbox format enabled by default. The only
thing I had to do was in the Squirrelmail conf.pl settings for folder
collections. It's like Courier IMAP in that the entry is blank instead of
mail/ which created /home/$USER/mail/mail/...

Once I figured that out, dovecot is very fast and very nice. The indexing
is good enough to make the access quick enough on one server. I'll be
putting it on the other later today...
