problem in installing

Hello Friends

       I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 drive that is connected with a
serial cable to the MB.

When I start the Red Hat 9 installation the software tells me it cant
detect any HDD.

I have looked for drivers and help on the net, no go. Has someone had
the same problem, how can I fix it?

Please let me know I'm desperate.
