need help to install motherboard drivers in RHL 6.2

Hi All,
I need to install LAN and VGA drivers in my RHL 6.2 ...
downloaded mother board (LAN and VGA) drivers from Intel website.
when i untar them and execute with following procedure...
root# ./intel-100lan-2.3.27.sh 
raises following error
-----------
Starting installer, please wait

error: -d option is not supported in on Linux
tar: option requires an argument --C
Try 'tar --help' for more info
./intel-100lan-2.3.27.sh: ./install.sh: No such file or director
-----------

I need this because I need to work on libc 6.1, so installing RHL 6.2 in an advanced system. 

Plz get me out of this problem...
