Outlook to Evolution

Arden,
No - nothing better. I switched to GMail as it makes my email
available to me where ever I go. I decided that I don't get that much
confidential email that I care about storing locally so I'm fine with
letting Googgle do my backups for me. If there's somethign I don't
want sitting on their servers then I download it and keep it locally
only.

If be 'we' you mean some sort of Enterprise solution then I know of
nothing better than Evolution today. It's jsut that Evolution started
to feel a bit like Outlook to me. It's getting more complicated and it
wasn't clear to a dummy like me that they weren't trapping me in some
sort of proprietary file format that would make it hard to get out
someday.

This whole email thing is such a can of worms, trying to stay in an
open format, easy to move to other tools in the future, etc. It's not
easy.

Cheers,
Mark
