Make a full backup of the system

make a backup of /home, /usr/local/ibm, /etc/passwd, shadow
sysctl.conf, and so
install RHL 3 (if possible preserving your initial partition and out
formating /usr and /home)

apply the requirement of webspher on RHL3

test the new install
