How to Mount external usb hardisk in Linux

If you mean "hostname", look at the file "/etc/sysconfig/network".  You
should see it defined in there. Once you change it there, you would need
to run the command "/sbin/service network restart" or reboot the machine
to validate your change.  You can change it on the fly with the command
"hostname newhostname", but this would only last till the next reboot.
