samba, fc5 win98

Hello Tyche,

I think what you can do is to mount the smb on the fc server itself first 
and see from the log what you have there.

I mean creating a folder like /test and mounting the smb share on that 
folder with all the parameters. e.g mount -t smb (or cifs) 
//ipaddressofserver/sharename /test -o username=usernameused 
password=password used.

You can verify the exact syntax from the man pages.
