ext3 or ext4 ? Encrypt ?

I have a pretty good understanding of the theory and application of
encryption but, it's that ol' "gotta try it out" syndrome. I see a new
option come up when I do an install and right away i gotta try it. :)

yes I agree, experimentation is usually a good thing.
