Cups on linux 7.2

Hi all,
Just installed cups 1.1.20 on linux 7.2 I have run ./configure make &
make all, the cups service is running....then I go xwindows (gnome) &
type the following in netscape http://localhost:631... no joy the
printer management page will not load can someone help.
