Problem with nfs mounts

Hi all,

We have a mixed Solaris/HP/RedHat network with user authentication via NIS
with all disks mounted via nfs. Now, we are having a problem whereby over
the last week or two, nfsd has stopped of it's own accord rendering one of
our Red Hat boxes useless. The log is not being helpful, so I was wondering
if anyone else has had this problem. The system is a Compaq D310 (I think)
with RH 8. The vast majority of the logins are over the network using either
the Solaris boxes (via rlogin, and yes, I know that's insecure) or an X
terminal in Windows.

Can anyone help?

Andy
