How can I know my host name. Actually when I log in, it has a message about 
not being able to resolve the host....  but I still be able use Internet.

That's what in my /etc/hosts

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1		localhost.localdomain localhost
