The MAC address can easily be spoofed.  Heck, my MAC address for the
Linksys router is spoofed to be the original firewall's address I had when 
I first got cable modem access.

I have the firewall currently set to not broadcast the SSID, MAC address
filtering, and it uses 128bit encryption.  However, given that I have a
TiVo on 24 hours per day and it broadcasts regularly, the encryption
could be broken by my neighbor if he felt like doing it.  I don't
suspect that he will, but why take a chance?  I know him - I don't know
the people a block away that may also be in range.
