hard drive detection

Thanks.  That really bites.  I didn't want to have to reinstall the 
operating system.  Since the problem is on hda2 and the /boot is on hda1, 
it looks like I will have to.  Kind of weird that I have an hdb2, but no 
hdb1...unless the hdb1 is the swap drive.
