Switching SMTP "on"

It's sorted! Steve, it's down to you that the problem is fixed...

... and I thought I would change the main.cf file to look like that as
well. As I was editing it I notice there are TWO lines in the file
without comments! The file looked like this:

inet_interfaces = all
#inet_interfaces = $myhostname
#inet_interfaces = $myhostname, localhost
inet_interfaces = localhost

Spot the mistake? <blush> Geez I don't know how I missed that - when I
put the '#' in the last line the blasted server responded immediately!

Thanks to you all - this is a GREAT list!

Now... on to the next job - getting postfix to deliver to Hivemail!
