(no subject)

I am having a database connectivity issue between 2 Linux servers. I get
the following error message:

<computer-name>:No route to host

Then I tried to rlogin from one server to the other and received the same
message.

ping works as well as sftp and ssh between servers, however. I am not
sure what the difference is nor what the above message is telling me. 
Any help would be appreciated. Incidentally, I installed both servers
with medium security.
