hi...

i can use "ps" to get information about processes running on a given box.
however, the name is normally of the app that's started. ie if i do "perl
foo.pl", i get perl as being the app that's being run, not "foo.pl".

does anyone know if there's a way for an app/process to somehow modify its'
own process information/name from inside the app/process???
