Duplicate network config files

The files in /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ are intended to be used
by
RedHat's network configuration tool - redhat-config-network. These files
should not be used by system administrator directly (e.g. should not be
edited manually). All these files are modified with the use of
configuration
tool. These files could be considered as the internal data of that tool,
which
are not used by other programs (and not used in the network
configuration
process during system boot).

The information from files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ is used by
the
initscripts during the system boot process. The information from files
in that
directory is the network configuration which is actually used during the
network
configuration.
