Netscape and java jhtml problem

I have Netscape and j2re1.4.2_04 and it can't run jhtml
files. So the question is wheather I need j2ee SDK or not,
or if I need to define a MIME type in the browser.
My other browser Opera 7.50 runs the files whithout any problems although it has other drawbacks.
