Seeing a newly created lun

One way would be to reload the module for your scsi card (basically
do a "modprobe -r <your module> and the modprobe <your module>").

Another way would be to do:

echo "scsi add-single-device 0 1 2 3" > /proc/scsi/scsi

Where "0 1 2 3" is host, channel, id, lun.

YMMV.  I'm not sure how it would work with devfs.

We are testing a redhat 2.1 ES system connected via an hba to a mass storage
system.  Through the interface of the san, we can create snapshots, luns,
and clones.  Is there anyway to get the linux os to see these new "devices"
without a reboot?
