Although tripwire is a good system....you can do basically the same thing
with the rpm -V (verify) command.  I think that's why tripwire is no longer
part of the default install.

tripwire isn't part of RHEL any more.

[root at corpftp2 root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 2)
[root at corpftp2 root]# up2date --showall >rhel.packages
[root at corpftp2 root]# grep -i trip rhel.packages

It's not in DAG's archive either.
