Need help with D-Link pcmcia card

Has anyone had any recent experience getting a D-Link DWL-650 pcmcia
wireless card running? I've been looking all day and the end result from
trying the linux-wlan package ended up with a non working pcmcia service.
I also got some stderr on the screen indicating that certain modules could
no longer be located. I won't count out user error but I did follow the
directions. I don't have an extra-ordinary amount of experience with using
make (make xconfig) but I've been successful in the past. This is the
second pcmcia card I've tried with the same luck. Even better if someone
can tell me a card and maybe what store to get it from, I'd gladly
consider it. I've been looking at many local places (as I want quick
closure to this) but this has not been fruitful so far.
