no color print-why?

Have a problem with printer... Canon BJC-250 

I cannot print in color.  
I have a new color cartridge. 
I have done the configuration thing... resolution/
color depth, etc... but nothing ... (worked find when
I had SuSE working).

I have tried it with OO1.1 and with AbiWord...
nothing.

Suggestions?
