Easiest way is to shrink the Windows XP partition. Depending on how much
you plan to use Linux is how much to allocate as blank space. If you're
just going to be playing around with it 10Gb or so should be OK. Then
install Redhat 7.2. It will ask where to install. You just need to point
it to the newly created free space, making sure you answer no to any
question about removing existing partitions.

When all is finished, when the system next boots, it should ask you
which operating system to boot.

However - to find specific details - why not just download the relevant
documentation?

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.2-Manual/

The installation manual should do it for you.

Ed.
