RHEL3 Postfix + LDAP hosed

Hi all,

After attempting a migration from Redhat v9 to RHEL v3 in a test environment, I am having trouble with Postfix.

As soon as I configure postfix to use any LDAP based maps, the following errors are logged in the /var/log/maillog file:

Mar 14 08:22:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/nqmgr pid 10505 killed by signal 11 Mar 14 08:22:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/nqmgr: bad command startup -- throttling Mar 14 08:23:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/pickup pid 10506 killed by signal 11 Mar 14 08:23:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/pickup: bad command startup -- throttling Mar 14 08:23:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/nqmgr pid 10507 killed by signal 11 Mar 14 08:23:36 dungeon postfix/master[10407]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/nqmgr: bad command startup -- throttling

This config file works fine on the Redhat v9 machine, which runs postfix-2.0.15-1.rh9 as released by nl.WL0.org. The version released with RHEL3 is postfix-2.0.11-4.

I tried to log this as a bug with Redhat bugzilla, but bugzilla seems to be hosed.

Anyone encountered this?

Regards,
Graham
