Dear all,

I't time back to deal with this problem again.

I found that file hdc* hdd* lost in /dev on my linux box (~~ . Maybe it's the
problem caused I can't install the new HDD.

Anyone know how can I install those files by RPM packages? which package(s) I
need to install for recoverying file /dev/* ?

Another question: A hard disk formatted by "mkfs.ext3", and cyclinder is 4111.
which has superblock error. How can I recover adn mount it again. I need to
change it from hdd to hdc, and install another CD-RW to hdd.

Thanks a lot!

Z. He
