It's /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg that needs to be modified and it's this
configuration file that needs to be updated with the mrtg_total specific
entries.  I've included my first interface in mrtg.cfg below.  Note that
I specified the directory that the graphs went into so they end up in
/var/www/mrtg/graphs/mrtg_total
