Display can not change from "800X600" to "1024X 768" on RedHat 9.0

I'm sure this is not the RIGHT way to do it, but simply removing the
other resolutions from above should work. It's how I've always done it
in the past.
The right way, by simply choosing it within X, has yet to work for me.
