Help needed

Hi Ed.

I need gcc 2.95 to compile some code. I installed gcc 9.5 on Redhat 8.0 but
some libraries(MDI) are missing to build the source code.I found some rpms
on net that are compatible with Redhat 7.2 , so i acnt swith to later
versions.

This could because you installed a really old version of Red Hat Linux
and there have been a lot of improvements since then.  If you can, try
and install either Red Hat Linux 9 or Fedora - both are free.
