SAMBA configuration as PDC

dear list members,
i am trying to setup my redhat linux 8 machine as a
PDC.
while i am trying to join the domain from win2000 pro
i get this error..

the following error occured while joining to NGROUP
domain
no mapping betwen account names and security id's was
done

what is the problem
