Configuring Sendmail and VSFTPD

Grr the installation didnt work. I can't find a RPM for vsftpd. I kinda
found some RPMs but they are found mandrake. Will they do?
Otherwise any idoit-proof instructions for installation of vsftpd or proftpd
from scratch?
