Installing the dev package via up2date gives me the following error:

	There was a fatal RPM install error. The message was:
	There was a rpm unpack error installing the package: dev-3.3.12-1

Running this manually shows the following:

=========================================================================
# rpm -ivh dev-3.3.12-1.i386.rpm
Preparing...               ########################################### [100%]
    1:dev                    ########################################### [100%]
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /dev/snd/controlC0;40a5f4fa: cpio: mknod failed - No such file or directory

I downloaded the file twice just to be sure it wasn't corrupted during
download.

This is RHEL WS 3 X86

BY THE WAY -- I have an activated support account but cannot find any
way (other then this mailing list) to contact RedHat for support. The
web pages just send me in circles *describing* the support and showing
my account details but nowhere does it say "call this number" or "fill
out this form". How am I supposed to get my official bought-and-paid-for
support?
