zgv

[Aroop MP]

 Hello,
 
 I tried to compile the kernel (2.4) with frame-buffer enabled. My
 attempt was successful. Can anybody tell me how to see mpeg, avi ...
 files in the console? 
 
 I found it difficult to configure 'zgv' in my machine. I don't have root
 permissions. I want to install for my account only. Can anybody help me
 out?
