Problem related to mailer-deamon

Hi ;
I have a problem regarding to mail quota. In fact this is related with
mailer-deamon in sendmail.
I defined a quota for a user test and send him a mail more than the
quota he is having. This mail is sent from my side but it is not
bounced back neither it is received by the user test , rather it is
found in mail queue ;
The problem is that the mail server should an error to the sender like
mailer-deamon . Mailer-deamon option is enable i checked  it.

Can any one help me in this regards,
