question.. not sure where to post..!!

hey jason!!

what's up.... i'm playing with something in the back of my mind...
basically, i'm considering what might be used as a dual server, where i can
have two motherboards running in the same box. kindof a cheap two blade
system, with each blade/board with it's own cpu/mem/hard-drive...

i'm considering a usage where i'd be bale to have one board doing
apps/functions.. with the other board doing apps/functions that are being
remotely tasked via the ethernet/internet...

the whole thing would have to run a modified linux, as i'd want to strip out
a bunch of things.... but i'm curious as to if there are any manufacturers
that anybody has dealt with who already make this kind of box...

i would imagine with tech/costs being where it is now.. this should be
doable... for a reasonable cost ~600-800/box...

The only thing close to that would be virtual servers or vmware.
Multi-processor systems don't work that way the OS can use the processors to
spread the work load not run two separate systems in one box.
