help:Ext3 as journal file system

hello,
    i use Ext3 for journal file system, but my file system's size maybe 
4TB, the file name's length maybe 255 byte, and a file's size maybe 1TB. 
how can i solve this problem?
    whether do i need to patch the kernel? and if true, how can i find the 
patch?
