Still having problem with the device links

I got the tape library back online by running kudzu and then rebooting.

The /dev/cdrom still points to /dev/scd0 instead of /dev/hdc. Is there
anyway
of fixing this link permanently so that I can read the cds on the cdrom
and
write to the device without turning off the library and rebooting.
