Accessing Frontpage-based servers

Nope, not directly, but ISTR you might be able to download the (free)
"FrontPage Express" and coax it to work under Wine on Linux. Newer
versions are, well, not free.

Your best course of action is probably to download the site using wget,
LART the client, and fix the site using a proper editor, taking care to
ensure that any email addresses frontpage may have secreted about the
place are encoded using a suitable tool for spam prevention purposes.

If there are any references to anything in _vti_bin, leave them be, as
they are frontpage extensions executable references for eg. hit counters
etc. The java(script?) classes that FP uses should be okay, though.

Once you've re-uploaded the site, it may be necessary to get the ISP to
do a server-side "recalculate links" on the site, or even remove and
reinstate FP extensions on there to stop it being confused.

You really are better off sorting the client out, than trying to deal
with this stuff. Trust me, I know from bitter experience. Google if
you're interested.
