What's security thingy? as far as I can tell from here, your port 25 is 
blocked, probably by IP Tables. Make sure that's not the case.

What's in virtusertable file? You didn't post that. What's in line 1 and 3 of 
that file? Do you maybe just have space which makes it complain?
