Anybody using VMWare? We're thinking of trying it.

	So how is that any different then if the users had their own Win
PC's instead?  The only new variable is VMWare is just one more possibility
of things to trouble shoot, but all the other issues are the same.

I think it is OK to use for yourself - you will see
what I mean if you read on.

we had VMware 3.1 running on a few redhat 8.0 desktops
before and installed win2k. it was ok as far as the
users stayed on their local machine. but when the
users try to use the internet, email, printing, files
from the servers, problems started. then you have the
support problem. you will need a few supporters (if
you are in a large org) to solve one problem because
it may be the network, the linux, the win2k, the
servers, the email server etc.
