Top posting is the method whereby you put the answer above the question.

This list certainly isn't for experts although there are experts here.
Jason isn't being rude - he's simply saying that if you want the experts
to help you, you should try it and make it as easy for them as possible.
I get hundreds of messages every day and am very selective about which I
respond to.  Badly worded messages from English speakers, messages with
derogatory comments like Winblows, and such stuff will usually mean that
it becomes one of the many messages that I skip.  I simply don't have
the time to respond to every question - we all have to be selective,
even if we know the answer.  We help because we're nice in the first
place, not because anybody pays us to help.

Jason is one of the many helpful people here.  He was trying to help by
suggesting how to post and reply to messages on this list to reach the
largest audience.  By attacking him, you've shortened the list of people
that can really help you.
