vi for unicode (Thanks)

Hi Ed Wilts,
Thank you so much for your help.
After I put
set fileencoding=japan
set fileencodings=utf-8,iso-2022-jp,euc-jp,ucs-2,cp932
in my .exrc utf-8 is readable and writeable even by vim6.1.
