Make sure sshd is installed, configured, and running on the host you
want to ssh to. Then you can simply ssh to it from your workstation. If
you are using windows as your workstation, download putty, which is a
great ssh client for windows
For more help:
man sshd
man ssh
man sshd_config

Subject: working from ssh

Have RH9 installed on the box being used as gateway for my lan. I'd like
to
be able to access network device control from my workstation with an ssh

connection but don't know how.

Specifically would like to be able to disconnect/reconnect ppp0 from the
shell.

More generally would like to be able to do most everything from remote
shell.

Marty
