AuthConfig

I've been looking at Redhat Enterprise's AuthConfig utility and Redhat's own doumentation on this utility. The documentation seems to indicate that if you use this utility, for instance, to configure SMB authentication against a Windows domain, that the appropriate changes will be made to Pam config files. This does not seem to be the case. Does anyone know of an easy way to allow Windows users to login using their Windows domain username and password?
