Multiple IPs on single interface

Actually, 254 is the maximum number.  You cannot assign #0, as it is the 
address for the subnet, and you cannot assign #255, as it is the 
broadcast address.

Of course, all of this assumes that you are on a non-subnetted class C 
network...
