Oops, missed the static ip part. Have a look at
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 or if you're an X sort of guy,
redhat-config-network&

Hello Guys,
I'm currently running Red Hat ES 3.0 with a a host name of 'localhost'
and connected to a DHCP. I guess my question is, how do I go about
giving my system a valid host name and a static IP address without
re-installing the software all over again. Thanx in advance for the
help..
