Java app install errors

You should set your display variable to whatever the real IP is of the
machine you are running the install from, not localhost.  If it is an ssh
session from a desktop, then you will also need some sort of X server
(exceed, etc).  HTH

Any ideas as to what would resolve this? 

Someone suggested I set my display variable as such:
DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
export DISPLAY

...But that didn't help.  I'm not too familiar with what these other errors
mean.
