Need Help Installing PCI Modem in linux

Dear friends,

                Does any of you know how to configure
PCI modem in linux? My modem is connextant 56K HSF.
There is a driver in www.linuxtant.com, but its not a
free. The trial version has a spped limit of 14.4
kbps. Please help me to solve this problem.
