I have run into a problem after the County's upgrade of their proxy server.

Currently I am running RHEL 4.2
Proxy Server - MS ISA Server 2003 using integrated authentication

I have the needed proxy settings incorporated into the up2date configuration and up2date works fine if the ISA server is set to basic authentication, but when set to integrated authentication it fails.

Example:

[root at penguin magoo]# up2date -p
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC foo
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC foo
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC foo
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC foo
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC foo
Error communicating with server. The message was:
Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. )
[root at penguin magoo]#

Having the County IS change it proxy server to basic authentication is not an option. They temporarily did do as a test and to allow me to update to 4.2, but some other applications being used in the County had problems 'not' running in integrated authentication mode.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Mike
